A catalogue of a small genuine and superb collection of cabinet pictures, prints, and drawings, in the highest state of preservation, comprising the undoubted works of the following esteemed masters: -- I. R. Smith, Breughel, Georgioni, Schovarts, Van Lint, Le Duc, Cannaletti, Schwickhardt, Sackleven, Cuyp, Vandevelde, De Heem, and many others, particularly, a beautiful landscape by Gainsborough; a ditto of Westminster-Bridge, by Wilson; tiger's head, by Northcote; and a most capital picture of Christ amongst the Doctors, by Annibal Carrache; conversion of St. Paul, &c. The works collected at a very considerable expence, and worthy the attention of the admirers of the fine arts [...] A gentleman removed, which will be sold by auction by Legg and Chivers, on the premises, no.13 Gough-Square, Fleet-Street, on Friday, August 31, 1798, at eleven o'clock; also, part of the household furniture"
