According to Colin Bailey, the Partage de succession states the sale took place on July 1. And the full name was Marin Delahaye (1684-1753). He died on Oct.3, 1753. His inventory after death begins on Oct.13. "In the Partage de la Succession, drawn up on 29 July 1755 (MCLVII-415) each of the heirs - Marin's two brothers and his widow - report on any expenditure or monies received that pertain to the estate. Madame de la Haye lists monies received from the sale of works of art that took place on 1 July 1754. The painting[s] sold by Me Guichard are valued at 62,852 livres. This document contains the only reference I have come across to the date of the sale." [C.
