The catalogue indicates that some lots also belonged to another, unnamed collector, who was likewise deceased, and makes no attempt to distinguish between the two properties. At the end of the last day of the sale were 24 lots of pictures -- all but two of them in oils -- the owner of which is not specified. These fetched modest prices and do not seem to have included anything of much importance. Bonomi's books and prints were sold by Philipe on May 13/14, 1808. (B.
