Houlditch I pp.109-112. The seller was the dealer Samuel Paris. Two day sale, but dates are unknown. The sale also included bronzes, but they were not recorded by Houlditch. Lugt lists this sale as 1741, but it should be 1742. The highest prices for this sale were for the two final paintings, a Triumph of Bacchus and a Sacrifice by N. Poussin, which sold to Peter Delmé for £230 & £252 respectively.
