NotesThe seller was Charles-Alexandre de Calonne (1734-1802). There was another sale of pictures in 1795.

"A catalogue of the superb and elegant household furniture [...] Also capital marble statues and bustos, antique bronzes, a porphry vase, and a choice collection of prints, books of prints, and drawings, the select works of the most eminent French and English masters [...] Late the property of Monsieur de Calonne: which will be sold by auction, by Messrs. Skinner & Dyke, on Monday the 13th May, 1793, and eleven following days, Sunday excepted, punctuall at twelve o'clock, on the premises, the extremity of Piccadilly."

Lugt has a second record for the EBNP copy, which is only the 9th day of this sale (so listed as May 22), but apparently with a separate title page (which doesn't mention the seller, auctioneer, or date).
