NotesThe seller, Richard Morrison, died ca.1806, but there were several sales of his effects between 1788 and 1803.

"A Catalogue Of a very Capital Collection of Cabinet Pictures, Drawings and Bronzes. Also, a most Capital Harpsichord, By Jacobus & Abraham Kirckmann, 1782. The Sole Property of Mr. Rich Morrison, of Great Portland-Street. The pictures by the following much esteemed Masters, viz. Vasari, Berghem, Teniers, Zuccarelli, P. Potter, Canaletti, Van Goyen, Seymour, Brooking, Poelemburgh, Michau, W. Van de Velde, Elsheimer, Palamedes, and Mr. Gainsborough. Particularly an exceeding fine cabinet picture, Healing of the Deadly Pottage, by Vasari; A small beautiful cabinet ditto, by Berghem; Two ditto, fine, by Teniers; The Selling of Joseph, by Zuccarelli, And two capital Landscapes by Mr Gainsborough."
