NotesHyacinthe Theodore Baron. His books were sold in 1788, exact date not given. Lugt includes the books as part of the same sale The art sale catalogue includes only 12 pages. It took place at his home, rue Culture Sainte-Catherine, vis-a-vis le Jardin de l'Hotel de Lamoignon. First part of book catalogue approved for printing on Dec. 19, 1787, and the second part of the book sale on Dec.22. Art sale approved on Dec.29, 1787, so sale was in very early 1788. He is described as "Premier Médecin des Camps & Armées du Roi en Italie & en Allemagne, ancien Doyen de la Faculté de Médecine de Paris, &c." The book sale has a 12 page introduction about Baron.

Title page mentions tableaux, dessins, estampes, but the contents are mostly prints. There are also some lots of miscellaenous things, including natural history. The BML catalogue is bound with the book sale. .
