NotesIFP inscribed "Chariot huissier priseur." He was Antoine-Claude Chariot, 1733-1815. He was corresponding with J.J. Rousseau in 1790, and his activities as a cp continue until 1793. His son Claude Louis Chariot was born in 1765 and also became a cp, starting in 1803. He died in 1842.
