NotesLugt provides full name of seller, Dr John Woodward. Mainly a library sale of almost 5,000 lots in the 287-page catalogues; includes some prints and drawings, &c. There are two auctioneers given; we assume "Mr. Christopher Bateman, Bookseller" sold the books and that Cooper sold the prints and drawings. The drawing sections begin on page 246 of the catalogue. This is a multi-day sale, but the specific sale dates are not listed in the catalogue.

"A catalogue of the library, antiquities, &c. of the late learned Dr. Woodward, fellow of the College of Physicians, and of the Royal Society; and Professor of Physick in Gresham-College. Which will begin to be sold by auction, at Mr. Cooper's, in the Great Piazza, Covent-Garden, on Monday the 11th day of November, 1728. The sale will be twice a-day; beginning at eleven in the morning, and ending at two in the afternoon; and at five in the afternoon, and ending at eight at night. By Mr. Christopher Bateman, bookseller; and Mr. John Cooper.
