"A catalogue of all the curiosities and stock in trade of that late ingenious Mr. Peter Parquot, Toy Men and Vertuosa deceased. Consisting of Camea's, Intaglia's, Bass Relievo's, a very large Quantity of Cornelian's, plain and grav'd Oriental and other Agates, with Choice of very fine Onyx's, Sardonyx's, enamel'd Pictures, Mignatures in Water Colours, Medals both antique and modern, all Sorts of colour'd Stones, several Models of Pits great Diamond, Snuff Boxes of several Sorts, Tooth-pick Cases, Instrument Cases, a large Pair of Globes, fine Canes, and all Sorts of other Curiosities in Gold, Silver, Amber, Ivory, and fine Wood. Likewise a small Collection of Paintings in Oyl, Prints, and Drawings, with several Books relating to Medals, Architecture, Heraldry, &c. which will be sold by Auction for the Benefit of his Widow and Children, on Monday the 5th of February 1727-8, at the first House with Iron Rails on the left Hand, in Bow-street Covent-Garden; the whole will be ready for view on Monday the 29th of this instant January, and to continue daily till the Time of sale, which will begin precisely at Eleven a-Clock each Day till the whole is sold, Catalogue to be had at Mr. Parquot's at the King's Arms near Beauford-Buildings in the Strand, at Mr. Bouchet's on the broad stones in St. Martin's Lane, and at the Place of sale.
