Dezallier d'Argenville's dates are 1680-1765. The catalogue does not give the location of the sale, saying it will be announced. Before the sale the objects could be viewed at the owner's residence, rue du Temple, près la rue Pastourelle. See article on his drawings by Lise Bicart-See in Master Drawings, 2007.
